My client is a well-established, nationwide business who works within the construction industry.

Due to exciting growth, they are currently recruiting for an administrator to join the Support Services Team. The role is interesting and varied, it will suit someone with a background within a similar support services position who is used to working within a corporate environment in a varied and busy role.

The role will offer flexible working options for homeworking and will also have the opportunity to work in the head office.

This is a new role and presents a real opportunity for the correct candidate to make a key contribution to the business.

Reporting directly to the Support Services Director the role will encompass a variety of tasks supporting the whole business.

Role Details

  • The management and maintenance of client portals including the uploading and downloading of relevant job-related content.
  • Ensuring that the site teams have the correct information in the correct format at the correct time – whether that be electronic or paper-based format.
  • Ensure that the department had gathered all appropriate paperwork from subcontractors, site teams and clients to ensure we are able to close out jobs in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that the head office is kept in good order and that meeting rooms are ready for meetings.
  • Ensure that calls to the office are dealt with professionally and that visitors to the office are greeted and brought to the appropriate meeting rooms.
  • Provide a procurement service for the business to include the purchase/hire/off hire of site equipment, resources, and consumables.
  • Provision of a central travel and accommodation sourcing service for our site-based staff.
  • Provision of Printing/Laminating/Scanning services using large format printers and plotters.
  • The administration of business management system and documents.

Essentials

  • Must be proficient on Microsoft packages with a creative skillset to produce engaging social media and internal communications
  • Able to ensure accuracy and attention to detail always
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work under their own initiative
  • Excellent proven analytical skills, written communication skills, and judgement
