My client is a leading supplier of specialist machinery, they are looking to recruit an experienced breakdown controller to join their team.

The role will include planning and providing service, backup and support to the customer base by organising the engineering department planner. To manage the daily and weekly activities of service engineers and process daily service sheets generated by engineer visits.

This is a customer demand-driven role and will require the ability to liaise with customers and service engineers.

Role Details

• Planning and providing service, backup and support to the customer base by organising the engineering department planner
• Manage the daily and weekly activities of service engineers and process daily service sheets generated by engineer visits
• This is a customer demand-driven role and will require the ability to liaise with customers and service engineers

Duties

• Organise and plan service visits, breakdown call-outs and installation visits
• Prioritise service jobs in order of urgency and routine
• Provide all information to engineers regarding upcoming jobs
• Process daily service sheets.
• Organise follow-up work.
• Prepare and follow up spare parts quotes.
• Maintain customer details on a CRM system
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Liaise with the engineering manager
• Liaise with the sales team
• Answering the phone when needed, noting enquiries.

Essentials

• To apply for this role you must have experience in a breakdown controller/service control or service planning role.
