A growing IT Consultancy are now keen to appoint a motivated and ambitious Head of Technical IT Services with experience from the Managed Services Sector.

  • Implementation and management of new project deployments inc. Windows and Azure Servers, SharePoint Migrations and networking devices inc. firewalls and multi layered managed switches.
  • Explore new technologies that would benefit our clients, enhance their business and\or make them more secure.
  • In depth server and network fault finding (both physical and virtual).
  • Provide Level 2 problem escalation, support and troubleshooting within company SLAs
  • Backfill to Level 1 support when needed
  • Create and maintain technical documentation “operational runbook”, standards, and supporting documentation
  • Ensure compliance of all solutions to established security guidelines, approved standards, and approved company policies
  • Logging of technical issues to our IT Helpdesk
  • Responsibility for clients RPO and RTO strategies for correct business continuity plans.
  • Support and maintain MS Server/Desktops and Office 365 Systems.
  • Installation, configuration and support of an array of Firewall devices
  • Install authorised software to laptops and desktops
  • Management of Active Directory
  • Patching of client networks
  • Ensuring all client’s technical information is documented and kept up to date
  • Ensuring all software purchased licensing is recorded and maintained
  • Outstanding communication with your team and our clients


  • Supporting Office365, OneDrive, SharePoint
  • Microsoft SharePoint and Teams migrations
  • Manage a project to completion and on time.
  • Server migrations and installations - Physical/Virtual and Azure hosted servers.
  • In-depth fault-finding knowledge of Servers, Azure, Cloud migrations, Networks
  • Firewall/Network installations and fault finding (Sophos, Cisco)
  • Supplying hardware and software specification
  • Providing support to service desk
  • Active directory
  • Fault tolerant networks
  • Windows Desktop operating systems
  • Cloud Services - Microsoft 365, Backup solutions, Disaster recovery.
  • MS Exchange
  • MS SQL Server
  • Terminal Server


  • MSP background.
  • Network experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years IT experience.
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent fault-finding skills on complex systems.
  • Excellent understanding of Group Policy, DNS and DCHP fault finding
  • Dealing with WAN, remote connectivity, VIOP systems, VPNs and network security
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security best practices
  • Dealing with customers – customer service skills
  • Hardware build and Installation
  • Experience in providing IT support services to a broad customer base.
