My client is an expert in their engineering industry sector, they are a reputable employer looking to recruit an experienced parts manager to manage the inventory of spare parts and purchasing stock to supply a growing engineering department. This is a customer-driven role and will require the ability to liaise with customers and service engineers.

To apply for this role, you must have strong experience within parts and stores. You will be used to working in a demanding environment.

Duties

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of suppliers
  • Negotiate buying prices
  • Managing the spare stock inventory levels and replenish with logical and cost-effective system
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Response to customer demand promptly and professionally
  • Despatch spare parts daily
  • Liaise with engineers managing daily requirements for service work/visit parts
  • Keep logical and monitored storeroom with accurate stock locations and realistic stock levels
  • Maintain details on CRM system
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Liaise with the engineering manager
  • Liaise with the sales team
  • Answering the phone when required
