1st 6 Months
- £17.92 per hour
- 40 hours paid per week
- Monday to Thursday 7.00 am to 5.30 pm

AFTER TRAINING (Approximately 6 months)
- £18.65 per hour
- + Shift allowance of £35 (3.18 per hour) = £21.83 per hour with allowance
- 44 hours paid per week
- 6.30 am to 6.00 pm – 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern

Essential to Apply:
- Applicants must have proven experience operating CNC machinery within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
- A solid understanding of engineering drawings, measurement tools, and machining processes is essential.
You should be mechanically minded, reliable, and confident working independently to high standards of accuracy and quality.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Set and operate high-speed CNC machines to perform milling, drilling, tapping, and other machining tasks
- Carry out general operation and supervision of additional workshop machinery
- Ensure tooling, fixtures, and CNC programmes are available prior to production
- Maintain accurate production records, including component counts and scrap levels
- Uphold high standards of product quality and efficient output
- Read and interpret mechanical and engineering drawings
- Perform basic editing of CNC programmes and tool tables when required
- Take ownership of component quality and related documentation
- Check and replace tooling and cutters as necessary
- Prepare and load raw materials and components onto machines
- Check and refill lubricant levels
- Apply a strong understanding of CNC 3-axis and 4-axis machining and Renishaw probing
- Follow all company safety systems and operational procedures
