We are looking for an experienced Combi Forklift Driver to join a busy manufacturing environment.
The role will involve operating a Combi forklift to safely move, load and unload materials around the site. However, this is a varied position and will not involve spending the full shift on the forklift.
When not required on the FLT, you will be expected to support the wider production team and help wherever needed within the factory. Duties will include:
• Operating a Combi forklift safely and efficiently
• Loading, unloading and moving materials around the factory
• Supplying materials to production areas
• Supporting machine operators with general production duties
• Assisting with assembly work
• Moving and organising stock and materials
• General factory duties as required
• Cleaning and housekeeping to keep working areas safe and tidy
• Following all health and safety procedures
The ideal candidate will have previous Combi forklift experience and, ideally, a valid Combi FLT licence.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a flexible attitude who is happy to get off the forklift and work as part of the wider factory team when required.
Previous experience within a manufacturing, timber, joinery or production environment would be an advantage.
