Salary

  • £26,000 – Starting
  • £27,500 – After three months
  • £29,000 – After six months

Essential to Apply

  • Degree, HNC or HND within Construction, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Technology or similar construction related discipline
  • Strong educational background with good technical and problem solving ability
  • Good understanding of construction and engineering principles
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Computer literate with good general IT skills, including Microsoft Windows
  • Interest in technical construction design and engineered building components
  • Strong communication skills with a professional manner

Desirable

  • Previous exposure to AutoCAD, Tekla, Revit, Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD/design software
  • Previous experience within a construction, engineering or technical design environment
  • Understanding of construction products and their applications
  • Project coordination or project management exposure

Purpose of the Role

To manage customer orders within the Project Design and Management (PDM) department, ensuring efficient delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle orders from initial enquiry through to delivery and account closure
  • Liaise with customers for information, updates, and issue resolution
  • Attend site meetings when required
  • Produce accurate designs, drawings, calculations and manufacturing schedules
  • Coordinate approvals and production requirements
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and PDM Team Manager on task allocation
  • Support colleagues and contribute to team knowledge
  • Be adaptable to evolving business needs and undertake additional duties as required
