Press Setter Operator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Setter Operator to join a busy manufacturing business based in Newton Aycliffe.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with previous press setting and manufacturing experience who is looking to join an established company in a long-term position.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting and operating press, punching and fabrication machinery
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Ensuring products are manufactured to the required quality standards
- Carrying out quality checks and completing associated documentation
- Performing routine machine checks and basic maintenance
- Supporting continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives
- Moving materials safely throughout the factory as required
- Assisting other production departments when required
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety
- Following all health and safety procedures and wearing PPE as required
