An established engineering and fabrication business in West Yorkshire is seeking a Responsible Welding Co Ordinator to ensure compliance with ISO 3834 and BS EN 1090.

Essential to Apply
- Certificate of Competence up to and including Execution Class 2 of BS EN 1090 1
- Strong knowledge of MAG, MMA, TIG and SAW welding processes
- Understanding of welding metallurgy in carbon and stainless steel
- Experience with welding inspection, NDT and destructive testing
- Knowledge of welding quality systems and factory production control systems
- Ideally a coded welder background
- Self motivated, organised and detail focused
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with ISO 3834 and BS EN 1090 requirements
- Review technical and contractual welding requirements
- Develop and review WPS, WPQR and PWPS documentation
- Manage welder qualification testing and certification
- Oversee inspection and testing before, during and after welding
- Control welding consumables and materials
- Support equipment suitability, maintenance and calibration
- Compile technical databooks for completed projects
