ESSENTIAL TO APPLY
- Phyciscally fit
- Able to drive 3.5 tonne flatbed truck
- FLT Counterbalance (up to date licence)
- Experience as a Yard Operative
- Experience Picking and Packing
- Ideally Side loader experience – NOT essential
- Excellent customer service skills and experience
- Good stock control awareness and organisation skills
- Physically fit, able to lift building materials on a regular basis

THE ROLE
Due to a long-standing member of staff retiring, we are currently recruiting a Yard Operative to join a busy and friendly team based in the centre of Halifax.
This is a varied, hands-on role working both in the yard and warehouse, with occasional local deliveries.
The role involves working with customers, managing stock, and supporting general operations. You will also be required to carry out local deliveries a couple of times per month using a 3.5 tonne van.
Duties include loading and unloading vehicles using FLT, stock control, general yard duties, and supporting the day to day running of operations.
